Quarterback: A++ Lamar Jackson had a perfect QB rating. With only 17 attempts he got 233 yards, 3TD’s on the air and on top of that rushed for 65 yards and an extra TD. It was LAMARvelous. RBs: B+ The reality is that they barely carried the ball. Mark Ingram had only 9 carries, Gus 4 and Justice 3. All of them averaged above 3.7 yards a clip, so that is good, they just didn’t get to run as much. OL: B+ O line played well. They gave Lamar time to throw and did a good job on run blocks. Penalties were minimal, but need to clean the false start. WR: B- Other than Hollywood Brown, the WR's were a non-factor. Snead had 2 catches when RG3 came in but the WR core needs to do a better job to find open space and help Lamar. Hollywood is helping stretch this field and not allowing the opposing D to cheat against the run. TE: A+ Great over all game. Nick Boyle with a strong game 78yds on 4 catches. Andrews on the other hand caught 6 passes for 53 yards and 2 of them went for a TD. Great performance. D line: C The Bengals came in with a rookie QB in his first start and they allowed Mixon to rush for 114. That’s not good. Need to push the teams to become one dimensional, also if we get to the backfield we need to finish the play and not miss the tackle. MLB: C+ Same as the DLine in my opinion, not the strongest of game defending the run. OLB: C- Need to put pressure without blitzing and we haven't done that. Great pressure by Rickard for the sack fumbles. Great awareness from Bowser to scoop and score, but need to generate pressure consistently. CB: A I thought the CB were flying. Very strong performance, including a pick 6 from Master Peters. S: A ET played great, flying around the field and attacking the line. But an even better performance was Clark. He topped ET's performance, it was great. He timed that punch perfectly to force the fumble. |
